Update 2014!

Here’s a small update on what’s happening:

Dalindèo’s “Kallio”-album was chosen as album of the year at the annual Funky Awards in Helsinki. The album is has also been nominated for the jazz-album of the year at the Emma-gaala, the Finnish equivalent for the Grammy’s.

Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana are playing a few concerts in the spring as well before a creative break. New material will be released early 2015 and we’ll be touring extensively again. Our debut album “Burnaa” is also up for the award of the jazz-album of the year at the Emma-gaala!

On top of this i’m currently composing new music for the UMO Jazz Orchestra with saxophone-great Timo Lassy as the solist. The premiere will be at the Savoy-theatre in Helsinki on the 15th of May.
